Love that VH1-Classic

Tonight I was treated to the videos for Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" with the light-up sidewalk and bizzare cats jumping out from behind trashcans. This was followed by Sheena Easton's "The Lover in Me". She has huge heart-shaped dangly earrings in both red and black. And rockin' abs.

GRE is today... 12 hours from now. Perhaps I should think about getting some sleep.

Why are you up so late?

I stay up late. I'm a night owl. Yeah, it's a pain in the ass when I have to wake up be somewhere early in the morning. But right now it's all worth it. You know why? I'm watching the Bangles video for "Walk Like an Egyptian" on VH1 Classic! Classic 80's song plus cheesy video effects? You just can't go wrong.

Now, if only I can find a rerun of Jem and the Holograms. She's truly outrageous. Truly truly truly outrageous.

Sing it with me

I can't stop listening to this song by Black Eyed Peas called "My Humps". Can't. Stop.

What you gonÕ do with all that junk?
All that junk inside that trunk?
IÕma get, get, get, get, you drunk,
Get you love drunk off my hump.
What u gonÕ do with all that ass?
All that ass inside them jeans?
IÕm a make, make, make, make you scream
Make u scream, make you scream.
Cos of my hump, my hump, my hump, my hump.
My hump, my hump, my hump, my lovely lady lumps. (Check it out)

Friday is wearing on my body and soul, mostly due to crap with work involving broken equipment and lazy-ass people who should be fired. I need a nap and a massage. Can you believe I've never had a real professional massage? Me either.

For your Consideration, I've posted a few photos from my weekend in Atlantic City.

Ms. Jackson's Lyrics

Work it like you're working a pole
Shake it 'til you're shaking the floor
Pop it like you're poppin' a cork
Don't Stop, Don't Stop
Jerk it like you're making it choke
Break it like you're breakin' a code
Drop it till you're taking it lower

And the FCC was angry about her nipple. I wonder if this song will ever get on the radio.

Hey Mama,

Speaking of the Black Eyed Peas in my previous post, I just saw them as the musical guest on SNL. I didn't get home in time to see the first song, but I did see the second one which is featured in an Apple iPod Commercial. WOW that girl has some serious abs! They are not Janet Jackson abs, mind you, but they are awesome. Anyway, that was a great live performance, and it makes me want to go see them next time they are in the area. Another SNL performance that made me want to see someoen live was Busta Rhymes. He did very little mixing in his song "Gimmie Some More", and he had a small orchestra and guitar players on stage with a drummer, not a drum machine. And it was great! It didn't sound like the album version, which is to be expected because they're not in a studio. I with perfomers like Britney Spears would figure it out that we can tell she's only half-assing her songs when she shows up for these gigs.
