For Real Real, or for Play Play?

JeffMrSoftee.jpgWaking up on a Saturday morning after 9.5 hours of amazing sleep and getting an everything bagel in the park is a wonderful way to start a day. Realizing that the Mr. Softee truck is back, and thus Spring is really here is truly decadent. Pretty soon we'll be sitting on a hill in the park all afternoon watching the roller skaters. I hope to participate this year. Anyone got a pair of skates, size 11, or know where I can get one? Preferably black with red wheels, like I had when I was 10.

All well and good, except YOU apparently don't have a Mister Softee truck that just circles your block ALL DAY LONG playing that awful jingle.

Don't forget. The company that owns Mister Softee was sued for noise violations from more than one community claiming "severe aggravated community annoyance". Guess they were just peeved when they found out that there is no actual dairy product in their ice-cream-like summer treat.

I wish we had a Mr. Softee outside, it's going to be 80F tomorrow (today). I wonder if they sprinkle blue powder on the seniors' servings?

As much as I like Mr Whippy Ice Cream,(as it's called over here) the fact that Mrs Thatcher helped discover the process used to make it, does make it less appealing.
