Cynically Optimistic

Back in NYC after a great ski trip with Josh, BC, and Lisa. Poor Josh had a fight with a snow making machine - and lost. Yes, we took him to ski patrol and his eye swelled shut but he'll be just fine. No stitches, no concussion. But check out that glob of blood/snot/snow in his beard. Classy!

I made it out of Utah with only a bruise on my butt. In other news: red-eye flights suck, but not quite as bad as flying standby on a companion fare. I will only be using US Airways and Delta for short-hop flights from now on. And note to all: the international Delta terminal at JFK is a construction disaster. Stay far far away.
