Orientation week just finished and I've already got a stack of papers to read and things to prepare. We're expected to participate in a mini-course on Logic and Analysis of scientific papers, which promises to be very useful, if not stressful. For the first paper we were told that the conclusion is simply "wrong" - and now we're left to speculate how the geniuses at Harvard in 1979 screwed things up. I might be working late and neglecting my laundry, but I get really nice view, especially if I sneak up to the 21st floor.
