Central Rollerskate Park

GrannySkate.jpg

Another Saturday afternoon was well spent lounging in Central Park watching the skaters skate and the gawkers gawk. Tom hopped a train and spent the weekend with me, getting acquainted with the UES. To be honest, first we went downtown for sushi and cupcakes. Delightfully, it's becoming a regular pattern. Red Velvet cupcakes rule. Just though you'd like to know.

GrannySkate2.jpgThe most interesting spectacle in the park this week was Roller Granny. Let's take a look at why she's hot stuff:

• White Stretch Pants
• Bedazzled halter top with fringe
• Elbow socks
• Yellow Oakley's (probably fake)
• Neon Green wrist pouch circa 1993.
• Sophisticated upswept and perfectly dyed hair.
• She can balance on 2 wheels.
• The guy in the black shirt totally wants her.
• So does the other girl in black.

Comments
